Note 7 at Acts 9:7: Acts 22:9 specifically states that the men with Saul saw the light but didn't hear the voice. These two accounts can be harmonized by saying that the men heard the voice but couldn't discern it as in Jn. 12:29 (see note 6 at Jn. 12:28, p. 417).
