Previous Verse
Acts 9:43
Next Verse

And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.

Note 1 at Ac 9:43: This Simon is only mentioned in Scripture in connection with Peter staying in his house (Ac 9:43; 10:6, 17, and 32).

Tanners were considered unclean people by the Jews because they handled dead bodies.
