He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
Note 3 at Ac 10:3: This ninth hour was equivalent to our 3:00 p.m. and was the Jewish hour of prayer at the temple in Jerusalem (Ac 3:1).
