Next Verse

Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

Note 1 at Acts 11:25: Barnabas had befriended Saul when he was rejected by the Jerusalem church (Acts 9:26-27). This is many years later, and Barnabas again is used by God as an instrument in Saul's life to bring him into public ministry. Only the Lord knows what the outcome might have been if Barnabas had not been present to encourage the apostle Paul. God always uses men and women to accomplish His will. Although we may not have a visible world wide ministry, one of the few people that we alone can touch, could become a minister that will shake nations for Christ.
