Acts 13:7
Next Verse

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

Note 3 at Acts 13:7: This is the only mention of Sergius Paulus in scripture, so our information about him from scripture is limited. As the Roman proconsul, he governed the island of Cyprus. Recent discoveries have found coins and a slab mentioning Sergius Paulus.
