Acts 13:51
Next Verse

But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

Note 3 at Ac 13:51: Iconium was an important city in the province of Galatia. Paul visited this city on his first (here, Ac 14:1, and 21), second (Ac 16:1-4), and third (Ac 18:23) missionary journeys. Paul ministered boldly in the synagogue there for a long time (Ac 14:3) and saw a multitude of Jews and Gentiles converted (Ac 14:1). Many signs and wonders were performed by Paul and Barnabas there (Ac 14:3), yet they had to flee the city because of persecution (Ac 14:5-6).
