Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.

Note 2 at Ac 16:2: When Paul later wrote to Timothy about the qualifications of an elder (1Ti 3:1-13), he specifically mentioned that they "must have a good report of them which are without" (1Ti 3:7). This was one of the things that caused Paul to select Timothy.
