Note 2 at Ac 17:12: The word "therefore" is linking the fact that many believed with the fact that these people were diligent to search the Scriptures to find for themselves the truths that Paul was preaching. The Lord uses others to take His truths to people, but it is only when these truths take root in them personally that the Word produces its true potential (Mr 4:17 and 20).
