Acts 17:29
Previous Verse
Acts 17:29
Next Verse

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Note 5 at Acts 17:29: Paul's argument is that since we are the offspring of God, it is inexcusable to liken God to an idol of gold or wood or stone. The parent would resemble his offspring.
