Acts 17:30
Next Verse

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Note 6 at Ac 17:30: This verse reflects the fact that God's judgment will be according to the revelation that a person has (see note 5 at Lu 12:48). God put an intuitive knowledge of Himself into all people so that we are without excuse (Ro 1:18-20). However, God was still extending mercy to us. But since the express image of God has been revealed in Jesus (Heb 1:3), our accountability has increased and so will our judgment, if we change this truth into a lie and serve idols (Ro 1:25).
