And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews [that] Jesus [was] Christ.
Note 4 at Acts 18:5: Paul had told Silas and Timotheus to meet him in Athens (Acts 17:15) which it is certain that Timotheus did (1 Th. 3:1-2). Paul then sent Timotheus back to Thessalonica. This is where Timotheous and probably Silas were joining him from.
