And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews [that] Jesus [was] Christ.
Note 4 at Ac 18:5: Paul had told Silas and Timotheus to meet him in Athens (Ac 17:15), and it is certain that Timotheus did (1Th 3:1-2). Paul then sent Timotheus back to Thessalonica, where Timotheus, and probably Silas, were joining him from.
