Acts 18:7
Next Verse

And he departed thence, and entered into a certain [man's] house, named Justus, [one] that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

Note 6 at Acts 18:7: The name Justus means "just" or "righteous." Justus was a godly man who had no doubt heard Paul speak in the Jewish synagogue and received the gospel. It is unclear whether this is the same man who Paul mentions in Col. 4:11 as being his fellow worker and a comfort to him.

It would not be at all unreasonable to think that Paul continued teaching from Justus' house which was next door to the synagogue. His crowds could have easily been larger than those in the synagogue infuriating the Jewish leaders.
