And after he had spent some time [there], he departed, and went over [all] the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

Note 2 at Ac 18:23: This was the beginning of Paul's third missionary journey. This trip lasted about four years, from about A.D. 54 to 58, with three of those years being spent in ministry in Ephesus (Ac 20:31).
