Next Verse

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

Note 6 at Ac 20:25: Paul was not just "left in the dark" about what was going to happen to him. He knew through his communion with the Holy Ghost that he would not be coming back to Ephesus. He didn't know the details (Ac 20:22), but he knew the overall plan (Ac 20:23). Thus Paul illustrated how the Lord wants to show us things to come (Joh 16:13) and challenges every believer to walk in this mostly untapped ministry of the Holy Ghost (see note 83 at Joh 16:13).
