Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
Note 12 at Acts 20:31: Acts 19:8 speaks of Paul ministering in the Jewish synagogues of Ephesus for three months. Then Paul separated those who believed in Jesus from the synagogue and ministered in the school of Tyrannus for two years (Acts 19:9-10) bringing that total ministry time to two years and three months. That leaves nine months of Paul's ministry in Ephesus which he refers to here not detailed in the account of Acts 19.
