Acts 21:7
Next Verse

And when we had finished [our] course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.

Note 5 at Acts 21:7: Ptolemais was a city in Palestine located thirty miles south of Tyre (see note 1 at Acts 12:20, p. 645) on the Mediterranean coast. It was originally called Accho but was renamed after Ptolemy, the king of Egypt who rebuilt the city in 100 B.C..

Paul visited Ptolemais at the end of his third missionary journey as he was making his way to Jerusalem. He stayed there one day and visited with the brethren.
