Previous Verse
Acts 23:35
Next Verse

I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's judgment hall.

Note 7 at Acts 23:35: This hall is called by the same name as the judgment hall where Christ was brought before Pilate at His trial (Mt. 27:27; Jn. 18:28). However, this judgment hall was in Caesarea instead of Jerusalem. Both the palaces in Jerusalem and Caesarea were built by Herod the Great (see note 3 at Lk. 3:1, p. 70) and therefore had similar designs.
