Acts 28:28 |
Next Verse |
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and [that] they will hear it.
Note 3 at Acts 28:28: The book of Acts chronicled the acts of the Holy Spirit through the lives of the believers in the critical formative years of the church. From chapter ten and forward, the preaching of the gospel to the gentiles occupied much of the narrative. Now the book of Acts closes with Paul's restatement of the prophecy that the gentiles would receive the gospel which the Jews as a whole had rejected. History has proven this to be true.
