Acts 28:28 |
Next Verse |
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and [that] they will hear it.
Note 3 at Ac 28:28: The book of Acts chronicles the acts of the Holy Spirit through the lives of the believers in the critical, formative years of the church. From Ac 10 and forward, the preaching of the Gospel to the Gentiles occupies much of the narrative. Here the book of Acts closes with Paul's restatement of the prophecy that the Gentiles would receive the Gospel that the Jews, as a whole, had rejected. History has proven this to be true.
