Colossians 3:7
Previous Verse
Colossians 3:7
Next Verse

In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

Note 24 at Col. 3:7: The phrase "when ye lived" is in the imperfect tense in the Greek. This Greek tense is used to convey repeated, habitual, customary action. This is hard to express in English but Paul is stressing the point that the Colossian believers used to habitually commit the acts of immorality that he mentioned in verse 5.
