Note 7 at Col. 4:5: The phrase "redeeming the time" is speaking about our Christian witness, i.e., making the gospel manifest the way we should. We have to take advantage of every chance we have to share the good news. The NIV translates this verse, "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity."
