Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
Note 8 at Gal. 4:28: Just as Isaac was conceived supernaturally, so the Galatians became God's children, not through their own efforts, but totally through a supernatural work of God (see note 3 at v. 22, p. 1075).
