Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Note 1 at Jn. 4:34: "Man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord . . . " (Dt. 8:3). Just as with Jesus, our inner man receives nourishment from doing God's will.
