And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
Note 3 at Jn. 4:39: The gift of the Spirit that Jesus operated in (see ref. b at Jn. 4:18, p. 57) when He revealed to this woman His knowledge about her five previous husbands and her current relationship, not only brought this woman to salvation, but also, many of the Samaritans. This was, and still is, the design of miracles today (Mk. 2:10-11; Acts 2:4,41; 3:11 with 4:4,14).
