For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Note 7 at Jn. 5:22: This also proves the deity of Jesus. God is the judge of all flesh (Gen. 18:25; Ps. 58:11; 75:7; 96:13; Heb. 12:23; Rev. 18:8; 20:12). A mere man is not qualified to judge mankind (Jn. 8:7; Rom. 12:19; 14:4). God will judge the world through Jesus (Mt. 25:32; Acts 10:42; 17:31; Rom. 2:16; 14:10; 2 Tim. 4:1; 1 Pet. 4:5; see note 11 at Jn. 5:27, below).
