John 7:30
Next Verse

Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

Note 8 at Jn. 7:30: This is just one of many instances where Jesus manifested this supernatural power over those who would persecute Him (see ref. l at Jn. 7:6, p. 223). Truly, no man could have any power at all against Jesus unless it was given to him from above (Jn. 19:11). This makes Jesus' sacrifice even more amazing when you realize that no man took His life from Him (Mt. 26:53; Jn. 10:17-18). He laid it down of Himself.
