And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man which was blind from [his] birth.
Note 1 at Jn. 9:1: It's important to remember that the events of John 9 happened as Jesus was hiding Himself from the mob and passing out of the temple to avoid being stoned. In the midst of all this, Jesus was not too busy to minister to a blind beggar.
