But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give [it] thee.

Note 14 at Jn. 11:22: Martha, as well as her sister Mary, expressed her faith that Jesus could have healed Lazarus before he died (v. 21). However, Martha's statement here in verse 22 shows that she also believed that Jesus could raise Lazarus up even after four days of death. In verse 24, when she spoke of Lazarus being resurrected at the last day, she was seeking clarification of what Jesus meant when He said that Lazarus would rise again. It does not take away from her tremendous statement of faith that even now, Jesus could raise Lazarus up.

When Martha understood that Jesus was speaking of resurrecting Lazarus now, she ran to get her sister Mary (v. 28). When Jesus commanded the stone to be rolled away from the tomb, Martha wavered momentarily until Jesus reassured her that if she would believe, her brother would be resurrected (v. 40). She gave her approval and the stone was rolled away (v. 41). Martha's faith was a part of this miracle (see note 18 at Jn. 11:40, p. 310). Martha may have gotten too busy with serving at times (see note 3 at Lk. 10:42, p. 254) but she had faith in Jesus.
