John 11:43
Previous Verse
John 11:43
Next Verse

And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

Note 21 at Joh 11:43: This was not just a healing that took place in Lazarus. His body had already started decomposing. This was a resurrection, a creative miracle. It is possible that if Jesus had not specified Lazarus by name, that all of the dead could have risen. One day that will happen (1Th 4:16 and Re 20:12-13).
