Note 1 at Joh 12:2: In another instance that took place just a few months prior to this, Martha had been corrected by Jesus for being distracted by the care of serving. Again in this verse, we see Martha serving and Mary worshiping. It is not clear if Martha had straightened out her priorities yet, but it is possible that she had and was now able to serve the Lord in the proper way.
