The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
Note 7 at Jn. 12:17: Luke 19:37 mentions the people praising Jesus "for all the mighty works that they had seen" but John gives extra insight that it was because of Lazarus' resurrection from the dead that the multitude came to meet Jesus.
