The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
Note 7 at Joh 12:17: Lu 19:37 mentions the people praising Jesus "for all the mighty works that they had seen," but John gave extra insight that the multitude came to meet Jesus because of Lazarus' resurrection from the dead.
