Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
Note 2 at Joh 13:3: John was emphasizing that Jesus knew the full extent of who He was and the power He had been given, to dramatize just how much Jesus humbled Himself when He washed His disciples' feet.
