Previous Verse
John 14:3
Next Verse

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

Note 7 at Jn. 14:3: The thing that is going to make heaven "heaven" is the fact that we will be with Jesus. No doubt there will be things to see and do that will be wonderful, but nothing will compare with being with the one who loved us and died for us. A preoccupation with the details of what things will be like in heaven is missing this point.
