Note 95 at Jn. 17:5: This is a very clear reference to the deity of Christ. He existed before the world was formed (see note 3 at Jn. 5:18, p. 99; see note 8 at Jn. 5:23, p. 98; see note 4 at Jn. 10:34, p. 280; see note 4 at Mk. 12:29, p. 383).
