While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Note 98 at Jn. 17:12: Judas was given to Jesus by the Father in the same way as the other disciples were, but Jesus' statement here and in Mark 14:21 leave no doubt that Judas rejected God's gift and became eternally damned.
