Note 106 at Jn. 17:19: Jesus totally separated Himself unto God so that he could totally separate us unto God. Because Jesus became a man, He knows what it is like to be tempted (Heb. 4:15), and He knows how to help us overcome every temptation (Heb. 2:18).
