John 18:15
Previous Verse
John 18:15
Next Verse

And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and [so did] another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

Note 3 at Jn. 18:15: Only John records this interesting fact that John was known by the high priest and allowed to enter with Jesus inside the palace. John also brought in Peter (v. 16) to witness the proceedings. Apparently, John associated himself with Jesus without any harm to himself. Therefore, Peter's denial of the Lord was not necessary for his protection. Peter may have thought he would be harmed, but he was afraid of something that didn't happen.
