Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?
Note 5 at Jn. 18:33: Matthew, Mark, and Luke all record Jesus answering the first question from Pilate by simply saying, "Thou sayest it." John, however, reveals that there was quite a conversation between Pilate and Jesus (vv. 33-38).
