John 21:14
Next Verse

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Note 9 at Jn. 21:14: This is actually the sixth resurrection appearance of Jesus (1st--Mary Magdalene [Mk. 16:9]; 2nd--other women [Mt. 28:9]; 3rd--two disciples on the way to Emmaus [Lk. 24:13-31]; 4th--Jesus appears to the disciples in Jerusalem -- Thomas absent [Lk. 24:36-49 and Jn. 20:19-24]; 5th--Jesus appears to the disciples in Jerusalem--Thomas present [Jn. 20:26-29]). It was the third time Jesus had appeared to His disciples as a group.
