John 21:14
Next Verse

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Note 9 at Joh 21:14: This was actually the sixth resurrection appearance of Jesus (1st - Mary Magdalene, Mr 16:9; 2nd - other women, Mt 28:9; 3rd - two disciples on the way to Emmaus, Lu 24:13-31; 4th - the disciples in Jerusalem [Thomas absent], Lu 24:36-49 and Joh 20:19-24; and 5th - the disciples in Jerusalem [Thomas present], Joh 20:26-29). It was the third time Jesus had appeared to His disciples as a group.
