Medical science has discovered that a child inherits his blood from the father. Since Leviticus 17:11,14 reveals that the life of all flesh is the blood. If Joseph had been Jesus' father, Jesus would have had sinful, mortal life in Him. Since God was His father, physically and spiritually, Jesus had the eternal life of God flowing through His veins. Mary simply supplied the body for deity to inhabit. Jesus was God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16).
