Note 3 at Lk. 1:34: This was a good question asked for information, not because of unbelief as Zacharias did (Lk. 1:18). If Abraham would have asked a similar question, it would have prevented the relationship with Hagar (cp. Gen.15:1-6 with Gen. 16:1-6).
