And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
Note 1 at Lk. 1:39: This city where Zacharias and Elisabeth lived, and where John the Baptist was born, could have been Hebron. Zacharias was a priest of the course of Aiba and in Joshua 21:9-13 the priests were given Hebron "in the hill country of Judah" as one of their cities.
