And she [was] a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served [God] with fastings and prayers night and day.
Note 2 at Lk. 2:37: Supposing that Anna was fourteen when she married (that would be very young), her husband died when she was 21, and she had been a widow for 84 years, then her age at this time would be at least 105.
