And she [was] a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served [God] with fastings and prayers night and day.
Note 2 at Lu 2:37: Supposing that Anna was 14 when she married (that would be very young), her husband died when she was 21. She had been a widow for eighty-four years, so her age at this time would have been at least 105.
