And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
Note 3 at Lu 2:46: As revealed in Lu 2:52, Jesus increased in wisdom. The fact that Jesus was listening to as well as teaching these doctors of the Law reflects that.
