And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Note 1 at Lk. 6:12: This is one of only two recorded instances where Jesus spent all night in prayer. The other instance is recorded in Matthew 14:23 and Mark 6:46. It was no coincidence that this preceded His choice of the men who were to lead the church.
