Luke 10:18
Next Verse

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Note 2 at Lk. 10:18: These disciples were amazed to find out that demons were subject unto them. Jesus is simply stating that He already knew this, and He even goes beyond that by saying that He beheld Satan being cast out of heaven. This, no doubt, reveals His deity and His existence as God before His incarnation as Christ. (See note 1 at Jn. 1:1, p. 2; see note 4 at Jn. 5:19, p. 98; see note 5 at Jn. 5:20, p. 98; see note 6 at Jn. 5:21, p. 98; see note 7 at Jn. 5:22, p. 98; see note 8 at Jn. 5:23, p. 98--all on deity of Christ.) Jesus beheld the events recorded in Isaiah 14:12-15.
