Luke 10:22
Previous Verse
Luke 10:22
Next Verse

All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him].

Note 8 at Lk. 10:22: No one can know who the Father is except the Son and he to whom the Son reveals Him; therefore, any individual or group who claims to have access to the Father without going through Jesus is not telling the truth. They must honor "the Son, even as they honor the Father" (see note 8 at Jn. 5:23, p. 98). Jesus is the only way unto the Father (Jn. 14:6), and whoever "denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father" (1 Jn. 2:23).
