Note 3 at Lu 12:7: This verse not only shows the infinite wisdom of God but also His great love toward us. It is humanly impossible to number every hair on our heads. Only God could do such a thing. But to keep track of the hairs on our heads would take constant monitoring, since we lose hair every day.

In context, it is easy to see that Jesus was stressing this intimate association that the Lord has with us. If God knows us so well that the hairs on our heads are constantly accounted for, then certainly, we can rest assured that He knows every detail of our lives and will provide for us.
