Note 1 at Lu 13:23: This was a valid question that still impacts us today. Many people who have just come to the Lord think that everyone will be just as excited about Jesus as they are. They think that all people will get saved if they just hear about how good God is, but Jesus was saying that won't be so. In Mt 7:13-14, Jesus made it clear that many more would enter the broad way that leads to destruction than the narrow way that leads to life.
