Previous Verse
Luke 16:6
Next Verse

And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

Note 5 at Lk. 16:6: When the scriptures say this debtor "wrote" fifty, it is not speaking of him writing a check for the payment of his account. Rather, it is showing that this steward reduced this man's debt by half and the man signed this new debt agreement.
