Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Note 5 at Lk. 17:28: Just as in the previous example of Noah (see note 4 at Lk. 17:26, above), Jesus is stressing that His coming would take the world by surprise.
